Matlock Kickboxing is a martial arts club located in Matlock, Derbyshire. The club welcomes individuals of all ages, from 5 years and older. There is no upper age limit, making it a suitable activity for individuals of all fitness levels and abilities. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced martial artist, Matlock Kickboxing has a class that will suit your needs.

There is no tie-in period or contract required to join Matlock Kickboxing. The club believes in creating a positive and enjoyable experience for its members, ensuring that individuals come to the classes because they want to, not because they have to. Family memberships are also available at a discounted rate, making it an ideal activity for families to participate in together.

For those who are new to kickboxing, loose and comfortable clothing is initially recommended. If you decide to continue with the sport, a full training uniform will be provided as part of your membership package.

Matlock Kickboxing also organises optional tournaments between affiliated clubs. While participation in these competitions is not mandatory, students are encouraged to take part if they wish to challenge themselves and further develop their skills.

The club aims to help students progress at their own pace, with the belief that positive results can be achieved in a matter of weeks. Every student is considered unfit initially, and classes are structured to gradually improve fitness levels and skill development.

Led by experienced instructor Adam Sharman, Matlock Kickboxing classes take place every Thursday at the Arc Leisure Centre on Bakewell Road. The junior classes run from 7pm to 8pm, followed by mixed classes from 8pm to 9pm. The venue is easily accessible and provides a spacious and well-equipped training space.
