No experience is required. The school welcomes beginners and runs a Beginners Introduction Course.
Four styles are practised: Sotai Kempo, Sotai Boxing, Sotai MMA and Sotai Kickboxing.
For the Beginners Introduction Course, a uniform is not required. Wear something loose and comfortable, and training is usually barefoot.
A minimum of two training sessions per week is recommended for steady improvement. Three times per week is ideal, with some students training up to five times weekly.
Each class is 1 hour.
At Hombu Dojo, classes are limited to 25 students per class.
It is located at 190 Glamorgan Drive, Torbay, North Shore, Auckland, with street parking available nearby.
Sensei Stewart Ogg (Hachi Dan, 8th Dan) is the Founder and Chief Instructor and leads the training.
