Bunbury Regional Athletics Club

Bunbury Regional Athletics Club (BRAC) is a sports club located in Bunbury, Western Australia. With over 50 years of history, BRAC is proud to be affiliated with Athletics West and offers a range of athletic events for people of all abilities and fitness levels. The club is located at the Internationally-rated athletics arena at Hay Park in Bunbury.

BRAC welcomes members aged from 12 years all the way up to 80+ and offers a diverse programme of events. Competitions take place on Tuesday evenings and some Saturday afternoons from October to March. The club provides a full range of athletic events, including sprints, middle distance runs, throws, jumps, and walks.

These events include various distances and disciplines, such as the 60m, 100m, 200m, 400m sprints, 800m, 1500m, and 3000m runs, as well as javelin, shot put, discus, long jump, high jump, and pole vault. Walks are also available in distances ranging from 1500m to 10000m.

At BRAC, the goal is to create a fun and competitive environment for both beginners and experienced athletes. The club's competitions provide an opportunity for individuals to improve their fitness at their own pace and participate in events of their choice. Athletics is an individual sport that allows for flexibility and caters to various commitment levels, from social participation to elite competition.

BRAC's main competition nights are held on Tuesdays, with additional events on Thursdays and Saturdays. Competitions are age-graded to ensure fair competition, and the club welcomes participants of all ages, making it a great sport for families. Weekly competitions during summer are complemented by regular training sessions available to all members.
